Intel 14nm 制程晶片準備投產，5nm 則在 2015 年開始早期研發 May 15th 2012, 04:30 近日陸續發表的新系列筆記型電腦大多採用 22nm 制程的 Ivy Bridge 晶片，而生產它們的晶片巨頭 Intel 看來已開始為未來作準備。根據 Xbit Labs 的消息，CEO Paul Otellini 近日提到了它們的遠景規劃，14nm 已經開始準備投產，如果沒有意外的話，會在 2013 年開始。按照路線圖，14nm 之後的兩年，會開啟 10nm 時代，包括 7nm 和 5nm 都會在 2015 年開始研發，那個時候才會具備相應的條件。Intel 還同時表示，14nm 工藝會在美國和愛爾蘭的晶圓廠投產，具體的出貨時間還不知道。不過如果你要等 5nm 工藝晶片，估計還要等上幾年，其要實現的複雜度可不低，或許我們的孩子有機會用上，希望到時候價格也不要太貴。
