Option 公布支援 Windows 8 的 4G 晶片，大小如平板內的 3G 晶片 Mar 3rd 2012, 09:03 來自比利時的無線技術研發公司 Option 宣布，他們生產了一款大小跟在市面筆電和平板上 3G 晶片相同的 4G 晶片。這塊晶片名為 GTM801，是基於型號為 MDM9215TM 的 Qualcomm Gobi TM 4G LTE 晶片來開發的。 而且它的重點不只在於尺寸，它還已經支援尚未正式上市的 Windows 8 呢！看來它可能會引來一陣支援 Windows 8 的 4G 晶片開發潮。另外，因為 GTM801 是基於現有 Qualcomm 的技術來研發，相信前者跟市面上其他硬體或是制式的相容性應該不錯。
