Intel 發布 Xeon E5-2600 系列晶片，將引領伺服器進入 Sandy Bridge 時代 Mar 7th 2012, 11:01 在發布全新 Ivy Bridge 系列的前夕，Intel 率先為伺服器市場帶來了以 Sandy Bridge 架構的基礎的 E5-2600 系列晶片。Intel 稱這一代 Xeons 晶片的性能將比前一代提高 80%，節能水平也有所加強（每瓦效率提高約 50%）。E5-2600 是 8 核晶片，支持最高 768GB RAM，並且支持 PCI Express 3.0，擁有 Hyper Treading、Turbo Boost 加速、Intel Virtualization 等技術，基本你能想到的它都包含在內。這個系列共包括了 17 款不同的產品，售價從 198 美元（約合 HK$ 1,500 元，NT$ 5,850 元）至 2,050 美元（約合 HK$ 15,900 元，NT$ 60,500 元）不等。點擊來源可以閱讀更多內容。
