Apple 發布新一代 iPad，A5X 處理器、Retina Display、4G LTE Mar 7th 2012, 18:44 Apple 剛剛公布了新一代的 iPad，一如早前流出的資料，它有著較 iPad 2 厚一點的機身，厚度為 9.6 mm，比前者的 8.8mm 厚 0.8 mm。重點規格方面，它配備四核的 A5X 處理器（性能是 Tegra 3 的四倍）、解析度為 2048 x 1563 的 9.7 吋 IPS Retina Display（264 ppi、共有 310 萬的點素），顏色飽和度增加 44%。 網絡連接技術方面，新的 iPad 同時支持 21Mbps HSPA+ 和 DC-HSDPA 42Mbps，還有速度達到 73Mbps 的 LTE！合作伙伴暫時有 Verizon、Rogers、Bell、Telus 和 AT&T；因為 LTE 有不同的頻道，AT&T 和 Verizon 會各有自己的 iPad 版本。而它也加入了個人熱點功能，不過前題是要電訊商支持。 其次，新 iPad 保留著 10 小時的續航力，而在 4G 環境下則有 9 小時。主相機像素升到 500 萬，具備 BSI 技術、有 5 片鏡片和 IR 濾鏡，支援 1080p HD 影片拍攝並加入防震技術，前置鏡頭當然健在。軟體方面，鍵盤加入 Voice Dictation 功能，也就是語音輸入，支援英、美、法、德、澳、日。外觀方面，新 iPad 保留著 Home 鍵。 持續更新中
